3 Things Thursday: This & That

Well hello Thursday, thanks for sneaking up on me again! How does Thursday manage to show up so quickly every week? For that matter; how is it possible that it’s already December? I must have hibernated through half of this year or something, otherwise there is no way it’s already time to start making Christmas lists and setting resolutions I probably won’t keep! Are you excited about Christmas, or did it sneak up on you too?

Since it’s Thursday, I will keep my rambling to a minimum and dive right into my 3 Things for the week. {If you want to play along and join the link up, details are at the bottom of the post}.

? One: Canvas Art Prints from London Drugs

In other shocking news; how did I not know that you can turn your personal photos into canvas wall wraps before? As I mentioned before we are working on personalizing our house and adding a gallery wall, so when I saw these canvas prints from London Drugs I was totally smitten! I love the idea of creating personalized and meaningful wall art like this.

Originally I thought about getting a really big piece because my friend Jenn always talks about people putting pictures that are way too small on their wall, but I couldn’t settle on just one pic! I’ve decided to get the two images above turned into canvas art and hang them above mine and Mr. T’s dressers.  I’m also getting a smaller canvas wrap with a family photo on it to give to my parents for Christmas, along with a pair of mugs that have our mugs on them. {Clever aren’t I!}

PS: If you want to get any personalized gifts for Christmas, London Drugs also has ornaments, mouse pads, and a bunch of other gift ideas. Check them out!

? Two: The Artist’s Way

On Monday I started the Artist’s Way course. It’s a 12 week course that is supposed to help creatives and artists work through mental roadblocks and start creating really meaningful work. So far I’m really struggling with getting up in the morning and writing three pages longhand of ‘stream of consciousness writing’. For someone who loves to write I’ve never been one for a journal or a diary so this is a very foreign concept to me.

? Three: Hair Cut Remorse

Girls – I totally chopped all my hair off! What was I thinking? Not gonna lie, I’m seriously having some major hair cut remorse. I know it’s just hair, but it’s bothering me. Although, it did only take me 6 minutes to blow dry and style my hair today instead of 45. Look at the bright side lady.

3 things thursday

Now it’s your turn!  I’d love to read about the three things on your mind this week. It’s really easy to join in the fun; just grab the 3 Things Thursday badge, write a blog post, then link back to either one or all of hostesses; Raj (me) at Pink Chai LivingSalma at The Write Balance, or Nisha at Love Laugh Mirch and link up below. It’s super easy and it’s a fun way to meet new people, get new readers to your blog and just share what’s happening in your week.

    Great three things Raj! And even though you’re having hair cutting remorse, I saw a photo and it looks fabulous!
