3 Things Thursday: Feeling Chilly!

It’s that time of the year….the beautiful fall leaves are falling and the rain clouds are setting up camp in BC. As much as I love the rain in the spring, I really really don’t like it in the winter. Winter rain is the worst because it comes with a chill in the air that sort of settles into my bones. So basically I want to hibernate for the next three months.

So now for the stars of the show – my 3 Things! {PS: If you are a blogger we’d love to have you play along and share your own 3 Things each week. The instructions are at the bottom of this post}.

Herbal Essences Rose Scented Dry Shampoo
It works & it smells amazing – do I need to say more? If you have dark hair like me you know it is really hard to find a dry shampoo that actually does it’s job without looking like a small snow storm landed in your hair. This one is a winner because it extends the life of your blow out and disguises itself quite well on black hair.

Once Upon a Time Season 3
I rarely watch English language TV shows, but I am obsessed with Once Upon a Time. I’m such a fairy tale geek. Anyway, the third season released on Netflix Canada recently and I can’t believe I’m almost already done it already! I’m mildly sad that in a few mores days there will be no more episodes to watch.

Coloured Rice Rangoli
Diwali is only a week away so now is the time to start thinking about dressing up your doorstep. If you aren’t really comfortable with the idea of doing a powder colour rangoli at your door, this might be the solution for you. As a bonus, if you have a toddler it makes a great sensory play activity after the holiday. Watch the video above to see how it’s done; so easy you won’t even believe it!

Those are my 3 Things Thursday this week. I’d love to read about the three things on your mind this week! It’s really easy to join in the fun, just grab the 3 Things Thursday badge, write a blog post, then link back to either me, Salma at The Write BalanceNisha at Love Laugh Mirch or Raj at Pink Chai Living and link up below. It’s super easy and it’s a fun way to meet new people, get new readers to your blog and just share what’s happening in your week

I love Once Upon A Time! Don’t worry about season 3 ending as season 4 has just started :) It’s such a great show. Really well adapted. I think the story of Maleficent was inspired by this (in the sense that the fairy tales aren’t how we traditionally know them to be). I’ll keep an eye out for the dry shampoo. Not seen it here yet. and Best of luck with the Diwali planning :)
