In case you missed the news earlier this week – I’M GOING TO INDIA NEXT WEEK! And I might be just a wee bit excited about it; can you tell?
As excited as I am about this trip, I’m also dreading packing & getting organized. I’ve been working late almost every night for the last two weeks so that I can get my work commitments organized for the week I’m away, and now it’s time to start thinking about packing and prepping the house, anyone want to do that for me?
? Family Day with TELUS & the Vancouver Giants
This Monday was Family Day in BC, and the Pink Chai family got the chance to watch a Vancouver Giants game thanks to the amazing team at TELUS. I’m a bit embarrassed to say that it was my first time watching an ice hockey game live (how very not Canadian of me!)
It was awesome hanging out with the kids and sharing the hockey experience, but the cherry on top was that we also got to visit with two of my favourite girls; Salma from The Write Balance, and Eschelle from Mumfection. Sending a big shout out to the TELUS team for creating this special experience for us (I think 5 of the 7 kids there were also at their first hockey game), I’m sure we’ll be watching more Giants games in the future.
? Pantene Heat Potion Serum
I got this heat potion serum to test in a box of P&G goodies last month, and I’m kind of in love with it. Prior to this I was using a salon product that costs about $23 for a 100 mL bottle, and this one is less than $5 for 50 mL – kind of a no brainer.
The directions say to apply to wet or towel dried hair, which I do, but, I’ve also been using it on my hair when it’s dry. I put a little squirt in my hand and rub it on the bottom half of my hair when it’s looking frizzy or needs some extra shine. This baby is definitely going in my suitcase as part of my humidity arsenal for India.
? Hitha On The Go
Nisha introduced me to this website, and now I’m hooked! This girl has how to guides for everything related to packing, and they are good. This morning I learned that you can pack a necklace in a straw to prevent it from tangling. Brilliant right?
I’m planning on use a bunch of the techniques I’ve learned from her videos when I finally start packing.
Those are my 3 Things this week and now it’s your turn to link up! I’d love to read about the three things on your mind this week. It’s really easy to join in the fun; just grab the 3 Things Thursday badge, write a blog post, then link back to either one or all of hostesses; Raj (me) at Pink Chai Living, Salma at The Write Balance, or Nisha at Love Laugh Mirch and link up below. It’s super easy and it’s a fun way to meet new people, get new readers to your blog and just share what’s happening in your world this week!
