3 Things Thursday: Just One Thing

Sometimes I have these days that really suck. If you are new here you might not know  that I have an auto-immune disorder (well actually two because I have rheumatoid arthritis too), and some times I have bad days.

The thing is that I don’t really talk about  my health troubles in this space because I try to keep a positive vibe here. Pink Chai Living is a happy place. The problem with that is, I also sometimes treat my body poorly & don’t give it the time to heal that it needs, because I start to think I’m invincible – which my friends tell me I’m not.

So on that note; this week this week I’m cutting myself some slack on only writing about one thing; sleep.

the palace of illusions{A book, a hot cup of chai, and a comfy place to doze off – there are 3 Things on my mind!}

I’m stepping away for a couple of days to sleep and rest up and refill, and while I know the Internet will still be here when I get back, it can be hard as a blogger not to feel pressure to post consistently. When I think about stuff like that I just take a moment to remind myself that I’m the boss of this space, so if I want to take an extended long weekend, it is perfectly okay! See you Monday lovelies.

If you want to link up, I’d love to hear what you’ve been up to this week! {I intend spend some time in bed this weekend catching up on my blog reading}. Grab the badge and link up to me (Raj at Pink Chai Living), Nisha at Love Laugh Mirch, or Salma at The Write Balance.

    I love your plans – we all need a break once in a while. I’m so with you on being the boss of your space. It’s hard for me to take time off from my blog, but when I do I feel so much more “alive” and ready for the next day or week ahead.

    Raj, I’m sorry to hear you’re not feeling up to par, but I love your idea of an extended long weekend. Your photograph (another beauty!) looks so restful and I hope you cozy up in that space as much as you can. I understand, too, about the ‘need’ to post consistently. It’s almost like a frenzied feeling, once I am posting regularly I feel like I shouldn’t stop or I’ll lose momentum. In reality, those who need to get a dose of Pink Chai will always be there. :) Take care!

      Thanks for the sweet words Taslim (and thank you for always noticing my efforts in photography!)
