3 Things Thursday: Tired Mama

It’s almost the end of the school year and I’m so not prepared. Usually I start to wind down my big work projects at this time of the year and kind of slow down in preparation for summer holidays (and the kids being off school), but this year that is not the case. If anything, I’ve felt busier than normal this month.

Between my work schedule, overload of end of the year stuff for the kids, and life and general I feel beat this week. Honestly, can we just pretend it’s Friday and throw in the towel? The good news is; I work for myself and I’m an awesome boss, so I’m giving myself permission to take it easy today. My plan for the day is an extra long walk outside followed by a long snooze, but first……3 Things:mystery dressfinal

One: Mystery Dress
I spotted this dress on Pinterest last week and I cannot track them down in real life. Pinterest is such a tease! I think I’ll have to try to make myself something similar this summer. the goddess experience

Two: The Goddess Experience
Last weekend Salma and I went to The Goddess Experience, which is a retreat for women, and the goal was – finding your inner goddess. It was a really unique experience for me, and a little out of my comfort zone, but I’m really glad I went. First I got to spend the entire day with Salma, and as a bonus I was introduced to some really interesting concepts I can use in life and business; using my intuition more, meditation, aromatherapy, and Kundalini yoga.

It was really inspiring to see that so many women had taken the time out of their busy lives to focus inwards and work on their personal goals. I love seeing women joining together to create positive changes in their life.minc gold foil machine

Three: Minc Gold Foil Machine
I can’t believe I’ve had this machine for a month and just started playing with it! Basically this little device will add gold foil to any image or writing that you’ve printed out with an inkjet printer, and it’s amazing. I’m working on a few projects that I’ll be sharing soon, but I had to give you a sneak peek.
