3 Things Thursday: Zara-isms

Like all mothers I happen to think that my child is the cutest child there ever was (well, I guess both my kids are tied for that title, but you get the point)! Lately my little one, Zara, is going through a phase where she likes to make up words, or change the pronunciation of words. Around these parts we like to call them ‘Zara-isms’, and today I’m sharing three of my favourites with you.zara 3{The picture above is last summer, and below is Zara’s first birthday}

One: Toe-Ast
Of all the breakfast’s that Zara could have, she likes toe-ast, the moe-ast. {Did you see what I did there?}zara 1{Just before her third birthday}

Two: Everything “O”
Another current fave is Daddy-o, Mommy-o, Moonee-o (Armaan’s nickname is Moon). Since her nickname is Zippy, she also refers to herself as Zippy-o.zara 2{Helping mama make garam masala a few months ago!}

Three: I am a Mon-kay
She has this little diddy that she sings while acting like a monkey, there are 4 words to the song; I am a mon-kay. She also like to spend a lot of mon-ay at H&M.

      I guess it’s a good thing their favourite breakfast is easy enough to make!
