Cowgirl Moment

Outfit Details:
Dress: Sirens
Shirt: Sears
Sweater: Walmart
Boots: Aldo

This may prove to be the shortest blog post I’ve ever written. The draft has been open in my browser all day, and I planned to write about being authentic online, but my brain is not co-operating. So instead, let me tell you this; one of my favourite clients Codie Prevost is releasing his new album ‘All Kinds of Crazy’ on March 1st, and his publicist (me) is doing the final push for press, reviews, etc, and there just isn’t time for deep blog posts right now.

As for my outfit, maybe I was subconsciously inspired by Codie’s music and my inner cowgirl came out? (Clearly my perception of cowgirls is that they wear chambray shirts and brown boots).

You can take a listen to Codie’s new single Someday here:

If you like it, send him a tweet @codieprevost and let him know what you think. He’s the hardest working guy I’ve ever met, is Canadian, and is a musician – perfect right?

Look at that, I thought I had nothing to say!

Here’s the remix! Same dress, different day. I’ve had this dress for about 8 years now and it never fails me when I have ‘nothing to wear’ kind of day!

PS: If you don’t know what all the numbers are about, I’m participating in a 30 for 30 challenge right now. 30 items of clothing, 30 outfits, over 30 days … you can read all about it here.

This look is so cute and the Pink sets it all off.

Love love love that dress! And it’s so cool how you remixed it. I never would’ve thought to pair such a spicy color with pink. It looks stunning.

I have the perfect cowboy hat to complete your look!
(seriously, I have a cowboy hat, ha)

I really like his voice. A Canadian farm boy with a nice voice and a guitar is a win-win in my books!
