Before we talk about what I wore, I feel the need to tell you that it is freezing in BC right now, and I risked frostbite to take these pictures today. Also, we were so cold we didn’t realize the pictures were a bit hazy until it was too late to retake them, so just work with me and pretend you love the soft lighting effect okay?

If you’ve been following the #moms30for30 hashtag on Instagram and Twitter (which you totally should be, and if you aren’t, we aren’t BFFs any more), you may have noticed a lot of moms stick to the neutral side with black, tan, grey, olive and other colours.  I have the opposite problem; I like to load as much colour as possible in to one outfit. Don’t believe me? Check out my coat choice today…

I can’t help it, when I grow up I want to be Rainbow Brite – that girl had the best socks. Speaking of socks, I really should have worn some today, or maybe my boots.

I hope you are enjoying the 30 for 30 challenge, let me know what you think by leaving a comment.  I’m actually really glad I decided to do it, it feels like I’m getting my outfit blogging groove back!

Great layering. I’m one of the mom’s guilty of too many neutrals and blacks. I have to learn from you and add more colour!
