It’s been just over two years since Nisha, Salma, and I hosted our very first Three Things Thursday link-up. As they say though, all good things must come to an end, and this is final edition of 3TT. One of the reasons we decided to start this link-up was to meet other bloggers and create a community, and that certainly happened! It’s been a real pleasure getting to know so many amazing bloggers through this link-up, and we hope you’ll stay connected through our blogs and social media channels, because we have lots of fun new content coming up.
So what are the 3 things on my mind this week (other than the bitter sweet good-bye of course)….
I’ve been interested in Ayurveda for a very long time and have read so much about it online and in books, but I feel like I’m ready to learn more. Lately I’ve been really diving deep into how our doshas work and how the foods we eat affect them. I’m actually thinking about taking an intensive course this summer on the Ayurvedic diet. (In all my spare time you know!)
It may come as no surprise that I own a lot of jhumke and chudiyan, and I hate having them hidden away under my bed and in my closet. These are pieces that I wear pretty much on a daily basis and want to be able to reach for in the morning. I’ve spent some time looking around at traditional jewellery boxes and storage systems, and I don’t think those are going to work for me. I’m currently dreaming up a custom wall cabinet for my jhumke, will keep you posted on that!
Motherhood & Friendships
A couple of weeks ago I was featured in an article in the Toronto Sun about how motherhood and having babies can change your friendships. It’s a really interesting read with lots of different opinions from moms across the country, if you want to check it out!
