Happy Saturday everyone! I’m busy doing a little DIY decorating in my kitchen today, so I thought it would be fun to share a round-up of a few posts on DIY decor inspiration. I love adding personalized touches to my home, and most of my projects are fairly easy and cost effective. If you want to give your space a few fresh touches this weekend, check out the links below for 5 easy diy home decor projects!
Memo Board or Jewellery Holder
I created this cork board project because I needed a place to display some of my larger pieces of jewellery, but you could easily use the same concept and make a memo board for your kitchen or office. If you don’t have block stamps, grab a few regular stamps from the Dollar Store and go for it.
Bollywood Inspired Canvas Art
Need a new piece of art for your place? This simple DIY canvas took me just under two hours, cost less than $20 to make, and is one of my favourite pieces in my house.
Phulkari Inspired Fuse Bead Coasters
It is patio season, so why not add a little flair to your coaster collection? These beauties are inspired by the gorgeous Phulkari print I saw all over Amritsar and are super simple to make with the kidlets.
This project was the first DIY I ever did for Pink Chai, and is still one of my favourite office decor projects. I’m actually planning to redo something similar for a small space by our front door to hold notes to each other, shopping lists, and general reminders.
Washi Tape Candle Holders
This is a no-fail project. You can do tea light candle holders like I’ve done, or you can even get vases and candle holders in a variety of sizes and create a grouping of candle holders. There are so many great prints of washi tape to use, I’m sure you can find something to match your home.
I hope you are feeling inspired to personalize your space a little after reading this post. If you decide to try a project I’d love to see it!
