What I Wore | Vancouver Fashion Week

I spent most of last week on my feet {in heels no less}, and freezing ‘in the tents’ at Vancouver Fashion Week, and it’s caught up with me. I’ve been battling a death flu since yesterday and am currently quarantined in my room by the Mr.

My full recap of the shows should be live on Huffington later today, but in the meantime here’s a little what I wore for you. This is what I look like when I shake off the mom uniform and play ‘fashion girl’ for a few days…

Opening Gala – Boho:

I haven’t bought a dress there in a really long time because I find the sizing to be a little unfriendly for curvy girls, but this one caught my eye and fit perfectly. So maybe I’ll be visiting again. I also have to give a mention to this new red lipstick. It’s a drugstore find {which almost never happens with reds} – L’Oreal Infallible, Ravishing Red, 312.

Wednesday Night – Classic:vancouver fashion weekvancouver fashion weekYes, before you ask … I love me some selfies, especially with adorable people!

This is pretty much my standard look for events – cute dress & pumps. This dress is from Old Navy and the heels are from Target. I’ve been off of heals for a while on account of my back issues, but this pair is so comfy {yes comfortable heels} that I went ahead a risked a night in heels.

Saturday Night – Indo Fusion:indo fusion, vancouver fashion weekThe show we watched on Saturday was Tribes of India by Shravan Kumar {details coming soon}, so I decided to add an Indian touch to my look. This dress is from a street market in Jaipur, and the top is a sari blouse pulled from my desi closet. Of course, I added my trademark; jhumkas.

Those were my three looks for this season at Vancouver Fashion Week, do you have a favourite?
